Our Beneteau First 40.7's are available for bareboat charter and are ideal for comfortable sailing with friends and family. Whether you require a gentle cruise, fast passage making, full offshore racing, or regatta racing these boats do not disappoint.

Sailing qualifications:

It is important to have relevant sailing experience in a similar size and type of yacht for the conditions that you might reasonably expect for your charter plans. Sailing qualifications are not the only requirements to enable you to skipper a yacht, many sailors have sufficient knowledge and experience without any formal sailing qualifications. However the safety of the yacht and all on board is the responsibility of the skipper. Therefore if you are unsure then please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.

Handover:

We provide a full hand-over service at Ocean Village.  All boats are cleaned, fuel and water tanks filled and ready to start your sailing charter. The key features of the yacht will be explained and will also include a review of safety procedures. An operations manual for all equipment will be on board.

Our handover times are usually 1800hrs for the start of the charter, yachts are to be returned by 1600hrs at the end of the charter period.  We can however accommodate  flexible handover arrangements should you require.
